My interest in photography started at the age of 10 when my parents bought me a 35mm Miranda camera, which accompanied me on my first trans atlantic trip to Vancouver Island Canada. Inspired by the fantastic scenery set me on my passion with capturing all that is natural. Since then I have upgraded through the Canon SLR range starting with the T70/90 and then EOS5. I made the move to Digital in 2002 and have never looked back. Now living in Devon close to Dartmoor I try to get out as often as possible to capture natural Images that inspire me. I am currently using a Canon EOS 1ds and have my original 20d as back up. I shoot in RAW format and use Adobe Lightroom purely for processing to TIFF or Jpeg files depending on there use. I do not believe in electronic manipulation and try to capture the image at the time of the shot. So keeping my photography as close to what I see at the time.
